The Rules, Lots of ways to WIN!
Squares are 100 Pickles each. The Total purse for the pool is 10,000 Pickles. There are many ways to win….
First, the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th quarter each pay 600 Pickles if you have the right combination of numbers. Kitty corner neighbors to the winning square in each of those quarters will get 150 Pickles. IF the game goes into overtime, the final score will get 400 Pickles on the right square and the neighbors will get 100 Pickles. Typically, the game does not go into overtime, therefore, if the game ends at the end of the fourth quarter the winning square for the fourth quarter will pay 1000 Pickles and the neighbors will pay 250 Pickles. See the following illustration for more detail:

In addition to the above, this pool also pays for every single score made by either team. 0-0 is the first score of the game and is an automatic winner. The remainder of the 10,000 Pickles purse not used for quarter and neighbor scores (over 4000 Pickles) is divided up at the end of the game by however many scores were made during the game. Every score counts….6-0, 7-0, 7-6, 7-7….you get the idea. If there are only 10 different scores throughout the entire game that will make each score change worth over 400 Pickles! Furthermore….you GET NEW NUMBERS EVERY QUARTER so you will not be stuck with one bad set of numbers AND when the numbers switch over at the end of the quarter we consider that a score change. For instance, if, at the end of the 1st quarter the score is 3-0, whoever has the right combination of numbers for the quarter will get the 600 Pickles, the neighbors of that square will get 150 Pickles. Then it will roll to 2nd quarter numbers so whoever is holding the 3-0 in the right combination will get a score change.
